Shayan: On September 6th 2023 at 11:30,Tishk International University represented by (Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the President of TIU; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President of TIU; Prof. Dr. Faiq Hama Saeed Hussain, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science; Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations Office; and Dr. Tola Faraj, Head of the Medical Analysis Department & IRO representative at the Faculty of Applied Science) received a high ranked delegation from Erbil Medical University represented by (Prof. Dr. Nooraddin ISMAIL ALLA WERDI, the President; Dr. Omar Abdulkadir Nakshabandi, the Director of International Academic Relations; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Aziz Nakshabandi, College of Pharmacy-Lecturer).
Erbil Medical University has been established in July. The university consists of five colleges including College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing and College of Health Sciences.
With the aim of cooperation in higher education studies, education, and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, both universities (TIU and HMU) have renewed the MoU.
In the meeting, the mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration particularly having joint post graduated are also discussed.
To conclude both parties confirmed the importance of having opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural, and scientific collaboration in the future.
